Day 01: Arrive at Dehradun, Drive to Sankri
Reach Dehradun early in the morning and directly head off on a car journey to the tiny hamlet called Sankri, which is the origin point of the Har Ki Dun trek. During the drive, witness the magical beauty of the surroundings and also enjoy the stunning views of the towering mountains that entices trekkers from across the globe.
A quick lunch on the way will keep you reenergised and at the end of 10 hours drive, you will finally reach the quaint little village of Sankri that is located at a height of 1,950m. After your arrival in the vicinity, check-in into one of the hotels/resorts and relax for the day; overnight stay will be in Sankri.
Day 02: Trek from Sankri - Taluka (12km)
After having breakfast in Sankri, get ready for your first day of Har Ki Doon trek. Before embarking on the trek, ensure that you have enough of bottled drinking water and energy bars to keep you going.
By late afternoon and after your arrival in Taluka, check-in into a tent to spend the night under the star clad sky and enjoy the freshness of Taluka. Evening will be delighted with a lively bonfire, snacks, different folklores about the locale and a delicious dinner.
Day 03: Trek from Taluka - Osla
Wake in the morning to a hot breakfast and trek towards Osla that stands at an altitude of 2560m. Along the way, traverse through the Siyan Gad by bridge to reach Dhatmir village and cross the Ton River as well. Enjoy amazing views of sprawling wild orchids, and if lucky, encounter the wilderness of the Himalayas like Barking Deer, Bores, Leopards and the likes. Spend the night in the tents provided.
Day 04: Trek from Osla - Har Ki Dun
This day entails cruising 11km towards your next destination of Har Ki Dun Pass throughout which you will experience a gradual terrain and pleasant views of the valleys, plains and towering mountains. The gradual ascent to Har Ki Dun is adorned with wild orchid fields and from an elevation of 6,200m offers excellent views of the Swargarohini and Juandar glaciers. On arrival at the Pass, settle down in the campsite with peaks of Har Ki Dun and Swargarohini towering above.
Day 05: Har Ki Dun trek - Jaundhar Glacier - Har Ki Doon camp
The day starts with a healthy meal and continues on to a trek towards the Juandhar glaciers, which is a 55km stretch of white snow and patches of green grass. Feast your eyes with the picturesque views of the glaciers and the valley post which you can return back to the Swargarohini campsite. After a long day of trekking for about 15km, retire for the night in the camp.
Day 06: Trek from Har Ki Dun - Osla
Trekking back to the village of Osla will take up the entire day. Traverse through beautiful sights and landscapes along the way. The easy downhill trek to Osla takes around 3-4 hrs and covers around a total of 11km. On arriving Osla, spend the night in the rest houses or tents provided. During the trek, it is advisable to take food on time to avoid dehydration and other sort of altitude sickness.
Day 07: Trek from Osla - Sankri
The 7th day is the last day of the trek covering 26km through steeper terrains and stunning environs with sights of migratory birds disappearing in the snow-peaked mountains. After about 6 to 7 hours, finally arrive back to Sankri; overnight stay in Snkri.
Day 08: Drive to Dehradun (Reach at 7-8pm)
This day is highlighted by a back drive to Dehradun. Following your arrival in Dehradun; at about 7 to 8pm, the adventure of the Har Ki Dun trekking comes to an end.
Know before you go:
The trek will operate with a minimum of 06 participants. In case this condition is not fullfilled 06 days prior to departure, your entire deposit will be refunded.
The trek costs are from Base Camp to Base Camp unless mentioned otherwise. You are requested to make your own transport arrangements in order to reach the starting point, alternatively, we can arrange transportation for you at an additional cost.
We expect all trekkers to carry their own backpacks. All common gear will be carried by the support team. If for some reason a trekker is unable to carry his or her backpack, he/she can offload the same by paying an additional charge.
If for any reason a participant has to drop out from the trek on any day then we will make arrangements for his/her return to the nearest road head. A staff will accompany the participant to the nearest road head.
We will not be responsible for any loss/damage of your gears/equipment or other belongings on the trek. And if you damage or lose any of our equipment then you have to pay the full market price of that equipment.
Drinking and smoking during the trek is strictly prohibited. If found flouting the rules, your participation on the trek will be cancelled with immediate effect.
In case of any medical emergency, Medical expenses, if required, at the medical centre are to be borne by the participant.
If any of our trek cancelled due to any unavoidable reason. We will issue a voucher of the same amount of the trek. This can be redeemed for the same or any other trek within 1 year.
We have the right to postpone cancel the Expedition with or without any reason. We also have the right to terminate the participation of any member at any stage.

The Har Ki Dun means Valley of Gods is a treat for first time trekkers and nature lovers. Har Ki dun is a moderate trek which takes you to the one of the least explored places in the Garhwal region of Uttarakhand and best suitable for first time trekkers in Himalayas and also who are experienced in other parts of Himalayas. Har Ki Dun Trek lies in the Govind Wild life Sanctuary and National Park and other famous trek nearby is Kedarkantha Peak Winter trek. Har Ki Dun trek gives you the magnificent views of famous peaks of Swargarohini, Bandar Poonch, Kala Nag or Black peak and Har Ki Dun peak itself. The drive from Dehradun to Taluka is a scenic one via Mussoorie, Barkot, Purola, Netwar, Motwat along the Tons River. The road conditions from Sankri to Taluka (Where Har Ki Dun Trek starts) are rough one.
